Day 3!

Third day is different because we attended lessons for the first time!

We had lessons from 9am to 11am! Mr Imran's lesson about the Introduction to Complementary Medicine. It was quite interesting but I can't help falling asleep because of the lack of sleep the previous night! Bought so many tidbits from what we call the "co-op" in NP here. The tidbits and sweets are really cheap so we bought quite a lot to stock up as well as for refreshing ourselves during lectures.

We then had our break at 11am, so we went to the resturant just outside the gate of our campus for lunch with the year 2s!

This meal is really filling with 6 dishes and we only paid $14/pax meaning its slightly less than S$3!

Then we headed back for lessons at 2pm! Mr Imran's lesson again and we went through Herbal Therapy! It's really cool how all the herbs like plants and fruits can benefit and bring about medicinal purposes to human!

After our lecture, we had a meditation session and guess what?
Most of us end up sleeping! On the second try of meditation, I was the first to open my eyes because I can't stand the quiteness anymore and I'm falling asleep in no time. I opened my eyes and look at my classmates controlled my laughter and looked at Mr Imran. He put his finger to his lip asking me not to break the silence of what is called the "meditation-but-turns-out-to-be-a-nap-session".
Almost everyone I saw had their heads drooping down every 5 seconds, it was really really funny that I still let out a small giggle despite controlling my laughter. After a while, Calvin opened his eyes too and Mr Imran went to take a photo of the class. Both of us "twist" at the picture taken! Gracia then woke up and nearly break the silence and concentration of everyone that is "meditating". After Mr Imran asked the class to wake up, both of us burst into laughter!
It's really really funny!

Lesson ended around 3pm and we headed back to the hostel to have a quick rest before heading out to the streets to shop and get some finger food. The local student named Chen Ming then called us, and we met up for dinner. He brought us to a "la-mian" stall where I had fried egg with la mian.

Honestly, I didn't really like the taste as the vegetable they used had a really strong smell that I can't take. Also, the soup is very oily and salty! However, the la-mian tasted good!
Headed to 建设二路 which was quite a distance from our location! Walked about 15mins before reaching the place. Went to their supermarket to get some tidbits and snacks for lessons then out for a walk again.

But we didn't managed to buy anything else other than food! So, we headed back to the hostel for a rest and that pretty much marks the end of our third day!

PS : Photos have yet to be uploaded due to the slow internet connection!
